Brent Sinclair
A native of New Zealand, Brent did his PhD in zoology at the University of Otago, specializing on the ecology and physiology of alpine and Antarctic insects. Since then, he has worked in South Africa, Las Vegas (really!) and is now Assistant Professor of invertebrate biology at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada. Brent’s main area of interest is how insects survive low temperatures. He’s been to the Antarctic eight times, and to the sub-Antarctic three times, and currently has active research projects on fruit flies, many Lepidoptera and stick insects, as well as many other species. You can visit his lab website here.
